Root down & Rise up

Advice from a tree
"Stand Tall and Proud
Drink Plenty of Water
Sink your roots deeply into the Earth
Reflect the light of a greater source
Think long term."

Isn’t it so inspiring and powerful to know that we make the guidelines for our lives and we get to decide what is right for us with our everyday decisions? In simple words: we are the creators of our own lives! We get to choose to stand tall even through the hardest days. We get to wake up each morning and decide to notice the blessings that surround us. We get to choose to take on the day and use it as another chance to accomplish our goals.

Stand tall: Every morning is another day to create who you want to be and the goals you want to work towards. By accepting what has happened in the past days or weeks and to let that all go will help you continue to positively move forward. By standing tall, staying true to yourself, and putting in the work-anything you put your mind to you can become and all of those things you want to accomplish can be accomplished.

Stay grounded: We can’t control the world around us, but we can control how we respond to it. It helps us to sit in silence and to acknowledge what we are thinking and feeling when times get hectic to stay grounded. Then we declutter all of the negativity that is present in our minds. We have noticed that the more we carry in our minds the less we are able to live peacefully. Being able to work on becoming aware of the thoughts we are thinking and how things around us make us feel, will help us declutter the mind of all of the things that are just taking up space. The more room we have in our mind, the more conscious we can be towards the things that truly matter. Being grounded, fully aware of our thoughts and what is going on around us, gives us the chance to start responding to things in life rather than being on autopilot and just reacting. Motto this week- Join us : Respond instead of reacting.

Gratitude is the best attitude-Together as a community, let’s give thanks to our mind and body for all that they do for us. We are grateful to be able to move our body freely and we thank our body for how strong and powerful it is! Giving thanks that we can exercise to feel good and that we are able to sweat to get rid of the unwanted toxins in our body. We are grateful that we can nourish our body with water and the foods that help us perform our best. We give thanks to our mind for letting us create, to think, to learn, to grow, to reflect, and to connect with those around us. Gratitude to all of the wonderful blessings that our mind and body allow us to do daily.

Wellness for the mind and body that starts with us, stand tall and stay grounded. We hope to encourage you to always root down & rise up! To practice more gratitude and to declutter your mind so we can be present to respond to the world around us and not react.
