We always wonder why we feel so balanced and recharged after we spend time moving our bodies. Whether it’s going on a walk, stretching, doing yoga, tai-chi, cycling or dancing. We are a firm believer in movement therapy. Being able to release unwanted stress and tension from our mind and muscles always feels like a full body reset. Taking time each morning, afternoon or evening to incorporate movement therapy to feel our very best every day has become a way of life for us.

When emotions are high and our bodies feel off, we are always finding a way to move our body that helps us connect conscious and unconsciously to the mind body connection we have. Movement therapy makes such a positive impact in our lives whether it is to help our mental, spiritual, or physical self. By being able to freely move our body to express our thoughts and feelings in a healthy way, at the same time as learning to connect with our own self-awareness helps us feel grounded tremendously. This helps us communicate things we may not be able to communicate with words but instead with our movements in a creative and positive outlet. 

As we know, It is not always the easiest to keep calm when chaos arises. Being able to connect our breath with our body movements helps us breathe smoother and deeper during physical activity, which eventually teaches us how to breathe deeper and smoother during chaotic situations. One of the reasons we always turn to movement therapy is because it helps us personally be able to tune into our mind and bodies so we are able to let go of any negative or heavy feeling that may be present.

We want to remind you that we are right here with you doing the best we can to stay healthy, active, and safe- mentally, physically, and spiritually.  We are here to remind you that we are able to create a sense of calmness during chaotic times with the beauty of moving our bodies thats help us express what we are feeling while using it as a release.

Whether we are adjusting to workout back at home again, virtually or we are still safely working out in the studios, we are hoping to inspire those around us to move freely, get creative and release all that no longer serves you.
